My job is pretty cool. Sometimes, I play the part of a professional third wheel and follow people around on fun date, other times find out who your ticklish family member is, or I spend a day talking to strangers at special life events. I take my work personally and consider it an honor to work with you.

My photography career started when I was in the 8th grade. I was working with my local Harley Davidson dealership and ever since I have fallen in love with the idea of helping others to capture the perfect images for their events and every detail within it. Since 2013 I have found myself in wedding photography and in 2015 I graduated from Columbia College Chicago with a Bachelors of Arts in Photography. In addition to event/portrait photography, I have also worked in the food and product photography world since 2016 at two different studios in the suburbs of Chicago.

When i’m not hanging out behind the camera or in the editing cave I’m probably on my treadmill multitasking fitness and trying to catch up on whatever my latest TV show obsession may be or reading whatever strangers and friends have suggested in all different genres and formats.

& For the record, Alexis Nichols Photography will always support the LGBTQ+ community, and believe that Black Lives Matter. Let’s be honest, I just want world peace, and the best I can do to help achieve that is love the community that surrounds me.
